The sixth Icelandic Fisheries Awards will be held on the opening night of the Exhibition

Taking place immediately after the closure of the first day of the exhibition, it will take the format of a Cocktail Reception which will offer great networking opportunities for all. The awards evening has become synonymous with the venue – the beautiful Gerðarsafn Art gallery, which is only five minutes away from the exhibition.

The Icelandic Fisheries Awards were first introduced in 1999 to recognise and award excellence in the Icelandic and International Fishing Industry, and the stature of this event has grown over the years. The awards are hotly contested and are now truly seen as an accolade with winners using their success in the Awards to promote their company and products.
