VMK – Fish processing machinery Arenco is the owner and manufacturer of the VMK brand, one of the most famous fish processing machinery lines in the world. VMK provides all you need for processing of pelagic fish, such as; sprats, anchovy, kilka, herring, mackerel, horse mackerel, blue whiting and similar fish. VMK produces automatic handling systems with; - elevators and feeders securing the position of the fish, - de-heading machines with or without the evicera left inside (known as nobbing), - filleting machines for single or butterfly fillets, - and special skinning machines for both herring and horse mackerel in line with the filleting unit. High material quality and robust design of the VMK machinery and equipment, result in low running costs and comparably low spare part expenses.
